The only Righteousness that please God is the Righteousness of His Son. What a beautiful glorious righteousness. God revealed His Glory to Moses which to me is the heart of the Law of Moses. God revealed that His glory is His heart: He is Gracious Compassionate Longsuffering Abounding in Lovingkindness Abounding in Faithfulness Forgiving (Merciful) Just This is the Righteousness of God. Only Jesus perfectly reflected the heart of God. Only Jesus was Perfect. "He that has seen Him has seen the Father." We are to clothe ourself with Christ...and abide in Him. He will then abide in us and bring His perfect rightousness with Him. God is interested in restoring us back into the image of God, which means we were created to reflect His heart. Coming to Him and receiving Christ, immediately and in a moment God imputes Christ's righteousness to us. Then day by day He imparts His righteousness to us as He abides in us. THus any righteousness we have is from Him and all glory is His. "For by beholding Him we are transformed into likeness from one degree of glory into another by the Spirit of the Lord." The glory of God revealed to Moses on Sinai was the Righteousness of Christ. That is why God had Him go up the Mount and radiate Light and Majestic glory before Moses and Elijah. Both men saw the glory of God and both were hidden in a Rock. That tells me that was Jesus revealing His glory to bothe Moses and Elijah in the OT. And He is revealing today to all who come to Him. He is "THE LORD our RIGHTEOUSNESS" God our Father now desires us to reflect His glory. "He predestined us to be conformed into the image of His Son."
